The final of the rink Championship playdowns was played on Sunday night Between John Johnson's Sorn and Billy Morton's Galston Haymouth. A game of two halves this one with John's team of Shaun Rennie, David Murray and Matt Dunlop taking a commanding 5-1 lead after 4 ends but Billy's squad of Jay McWilliam, Jim Strang and Robert Anderson came right back into the game and it was all square going down the last with Sorn scoring the single point to win 6-5.
