Having made it through the playdowns Aileen McCorkell and her team of Fiona McGinnis, Janice Sutherland and Isla Robison headed off to the finals in Kinross.
They had a tough section which included the eventual winners of both the high road and of the low road, so to come third in this section was not too shabby.
Much time was spent both in the bar and at Loch Leven’s Larder so the team returned home a few pounds heavier but many pounds poorer.
A big thank you to our ladies branch for the financial contribution, it was such a big help, and to everyone that sent cards and messages of support throughout the tournament, it really was encouraging. Thank you also to the LSC and the Ladies of Kinross who organised a fantastic competition with fun, friendship and good curling at its heart and lastly a special thanks to our own LSC representatives Mary and Elizabeth Shaw for coming up to cheer the team on, and up when they lost.
