The Eglinton Jug was played at Greenacres Ice Rink on the 16/17th of November.
24 teams started the competition and after the first round the winners continued on the High road and losers on to the Low road. By the Sunday afternoon the High road semi finals were an all Sorn and Stewarton affair with both Stewarton teams prevailing and the low road semi finals were contested by Galston v Curl Ayrshire and Darvel v Fairywell.
Galston and Fairywell made the final which the Galston team of Andrew Boswell Jim Boswell James Dykes and Bobby Gault won beating Allan Sloan Bill Alexander Fiona McGinnis and Scott Sutherland.
The “Jug “ final was a tense game in which the Stewarton 1 team of Craig Reid Euan Jackson Hugh Reid and Billy Jackson just came up short against the Stewarton 2 team of David Mundell David Reid Alan Smith and Tom Reid giving David his sixth title .
