Ayr ladies hosted the Canadian Tourists at Lanarkshire ice rink yesterday. Although all the results didn’t quite go our way - won 3 games, lost 3 - everyone had a great day.
We were well looked after by the staff and members at the ice rink.
The first stone was delivered by Annie Kennedy, and following the curling and an excellent meal, we were treated to a firework display (unplanned!), entertainment by the Canadians and the evening was rounded off by recitations by Samantha Brown (well known to those of you who were at our Burns Supper)
